Beowine 2020 will be a place where wine traditions and cultures from the Atlantic to the Caucasus meet. The largest wine fair in Serbia will feature wines from Georgia, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia…

When the pyramids were built in Giza, wine had been made in the territory of present-day Georgia for 3,500 years! The incredibly long tradition of wine-making in Georgia makes this drink an indispensable part of this country’s national identity, and making wine in “kvevri” clay jugs included their wine in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Wines from this country will be presented at Beowine Fair2020, in line with the wishes of many wine lovers in Serbia who have so far been denied the oenological treasure of Georgia.

Among the countries of this extraordinary, but not well known wine culture, is Portugal, which will be presented with its traditional products: porto wines of all kinds, as well as non-fortified wines that also present the pride and joy of Portugal, and will capture the imagination of visitors and bring them to the shores Atlantic, into the land of fado music.

Italy, a country of wine that is extremely popular with us, will be presented with a wide variety of labels. We are expecting Peljesac wineries from Croatia at the joint stand, as well as individual presentations of reputable Istrian wineries. Winemakers will be coming from Slovenia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland and other countries, and naturally the prevalent number of winemakers will be coming from Serbia. Among them will be new, small family wineries that create bold, exciting wines in line with world trends, whereas some old traditional participants of the Beowine Fair are returning under the domes of Belgrade Fair.

Coca-Cola, a sponsor of Beowine Fair2020, will present itself with number of brands. Rosa Water will be the official water at Beowine Fair2020, and among other brands within the Coca-Cola portfolio that will be presented at the fair, the audience will recognize Golden Brandy, Bulldog Gin, Jack Daniel’s, Aperol, as well as a range of premium spirits of which the world-class bartender will make extraordinary cocktails on site.

Various workshops will be organized at the gallery of Hall 3, with participation of current caterers and other city “big shots” announced.
