More than 4,000 events are held annually across Serbia, whilst Vojvodina is at the forefront of organizing celebrations, for which reason the organizers of the most interesting festivals are proudly presented at Belgrade Tourism Fair.

Half of the festivals are held north of the Sava and the Danube, whilst the city of Pančevo with as many as 120 events is by far the unofficial record-breaker in regard to number of organized events. After all, the oldest manifestation ever organized in Serbia is entitled the “Carnival of Flowers”, which has been on display in the city of Bela Crkva ever since 1852.

Approximately 600 events are taking place in Belgrade annually – two events a day.

Festivals, better known as “ijade”, do not only represent the brand of Serbia, instead they also have huge economic impact on the community in which they are held. We all benefit financially from the biggest events, for which reason the Exit organizers calculated that tourists from Western Europe spend per 721 euros, guests from outside Europe 645 euros, whilst guests from Serbia 198, and Novi Sad 79 euros.

The fair will be an excellent opportunity to meet the organizers of the events in person, especially in hall 4 at the exhibition stands of Serbian Tourist Organizations, hall 1 where international and domestic exhibitors (countries and travel agencies) will present their tourist offer and hall 1A where youth, urban/adventure and event tourism will be on display. Furthermore, the fair is a real opportunity for event organizers to meet potential partners at HORECA (halls 2B, 2C) and BeoWine Wine Fair (halls 3 and 3A) where distributors, manufacturers or importers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food and coffee will be present.
