A week before the begging of the biggest tourism festival in the country and region, the 43rd International Belgrade Tourism Fair, at the Belgrade Fair, a media conference has been held at which participants and events of the program were announced. .

A fair with a long tradition, is one of the key movers of the Serbian economy as a whole, a symbol of tourism presentation for the whole branch and a favorite event of the visitors of the Belgrade fair, was awaited this year with great imaptience.

Under the slogan “Between Mountains and Seas” from the 24th to the 27th of March the International Tourism Fair is taking place which will with its comprehensive offer fulfil the wishes and habits of travel lovers.

First time offers and packages with many benefits will be presented to the visitors with exclusive fair price for trips in accordance with their personal affinities: family trips, far away and exotic destination, travel for young people, city break, vacation and recovery in spas, spa weekends in the mountains, eco and active tourism, congress events…

Countries presenting themselves at the fair are: Greece, Turkey, Montenegro, Tunisia, Egypt, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Maldives, and individually exhibitors from Albania, Croatia and Slovenia will perform.

For the first time this year visitors 2 new, and globally popular destinations will be presented: exotic Malaysia and Democratic Republic Sao Tome and Principe, which is made up of two islands in the Gulf of Guinea in central Africa.

Assistant Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunication Jelena Milenkovic highlighted that this is a good opportunity for the Ministry, in the sense of developing cooperation with other countries, and has announced that the Tourism Fair will be attended by seven Minister of Tourism from the region and the world.

Provincial Secretary for Commerce and Tourism of Vojvodina Nenad Ivanisevic has announced two important contents which Vojvodina will introduce. The first one is religious tourism and is being organized for the first time, and the second one is Tour de Fruska, which implies a tour of Fruska Gora with a bicycle.

According to the words of the Director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia Marija Labovi, this organization will perform at the Tourism Fair under the slogan “Serbia. Experience”, which represents the new brand of Serbia as a tourist destination as well.

The City of Belgrade, as announced by the Director of the Tourist Organization of Belgrade Miodrag Popovic, will organize a presentation of all Municipalities of Belgrade, and those who come to the exhibition will have the opportunity to watch the premiere of the series of new, short tourist films regarding the most significant tourist attractions of the capital.

The Fair remains in the sign of the Serbia creates concept this year as well, the national platform which creates the brand of the modern Serbia, relying primarily on internationally recognized, talented and exceptional individuals, who inspire with their accomplishments, innovations and creative ideas.

The Belgrade Fair has on this years’ event as well continued with the program of organized customer bringing. In cooperation with the business partners of the Tourism Fair, the Chamber of commerce of the Republic of Serbia and the European network of entrepreneurship, B2B program will take place and enable a large amount of business meetings in a special space “B2B Meetings” (Hall 1), thanks to the B2B business portal intended for registration of both exhibitors and business visitors as well.

At the same time, traditionally next to the Tourism Fair two similar events will be held which grow every year in volume and number of participants: the 17th international Fair of Hotel & Catering Equipment HORECA-EQUIPMENT (24th – 27th of March) and the 12th International Wine Fair BEOWINE (25th – 26th of March).

AS part of the program of the 17th International Fair of Hotel & Catering Equipment HORECA-EQUIPMENT, new trends in the Hotel industry and in catering in Halls 2A & 2C of the Belgrade Fair will present the most significant companies which deal with production and distribution of state of the art products and ranges for equipping catering objects, restaurants and hotels, as well as service activities, new trends of business, supplying and functioning of catering objects.

A two day wine festival, the 12th International Wine Fair BeoWine, will be held in Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair, on Friday and Saturday, the 25th and 26th of March 2022. Along with Serbia, at the Wine Fair this year producers of wine and equipment from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Republic of Srpska, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, K&M will participate. Through the presentation and evaluation of the current exhibition offer, education regarding new trends in regional and global winemaking, tasting of the current vintage of a large number of producers, the visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy in the synergy which BeoWine has been creating for years.

Tickets:
The price of a single ticket is 400 RSD, group ticket 300RSD, group ticket for students 300RSD.
Family ticket: 800,00 RSD
Business ticket with the benefits package: 2.000 RSD
On Saturday and Sunday, the 26th and 27th of March, for students of vocational high-schools in tourism-catering service, the entry for the fair is free, with a certified list of students provided by the school.
