The ITF International Tourism Fair is a key business pillar of the Belgrade Fair and the Serbian tourism industry. Partner country of the 2025 Tourism Fair – Italy

Italy and Serbia continue their successful cooperation in the field of tourism with this year’s partnership at the 46th International Tourism Fair at the Belgrade Fair, where Italy, one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Europe and the world, will be specially presented as a partner country this year.

This type of partnership with the Belgrade Tourism Fair and the Republic of Serbia is a recognition of the potential for strengthening cooperation and improving economic relations between the two countries.

For several decades, tourism has been the fastest growing economic activity in Italy and one of the most stable sectors of the national economy, and the income from tourism ranks it in the group of countries with the highest earnings in tourism.

Italy is a country of magnificent cultural heritage, architecture, history of art and design, as well as fashion, gastronomy.

The participation of Italy as a partner country at this year’s Tourism Fair is extremely important for Serbia. In addition to presenting the rich tourist offer of Italian cities, regions and different types of tourism, the fair provides an opportunity to present the tourist capacities and natural beauties of Serbia to Italian visitors, so that they can better get to know the attractions and opportunities offered by our country.

Serbia at the Tourism Fair

Serbia, increasingly attractive to domestic and foreign tourists, stands out as a growing destination open to investments in tourism and hospitality. At the Tourism Fair, it competes side by side with world destinations due to its natural beauty, diverse accommodation facilities, rich gastronomic offer and recognizable hospitality, which is a key asset in promoting the unique experiences it offers as a tourist destination.

Serbia will present its tourist assets in hall 4 of the Belgrade Fair through the performances of the Tourist Organization of Serbia (TOS), the Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB), the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina (TOV), the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism and winemakers of Vojvodina, as well as numerous local and regional tourist organizations from all parts of Serbia.

The Tourist Organization of Serbia (TOS) is presenting itself at this year’s International Tourism Fair in Belgrade in hall 4 under the slogan “Experience! SERBIA”.

The Ministry of Tourism and Youth, Public Enterprise “Skijališta Srbije””, the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, humanitarian organization “Zvuci srca”, the Traffic Safety Agency with the Directorate of Traffic Police and Naive Art Gallery from Kovačica will present themselves together with the Tourist Organization of Serbia. The brand of the Tourist Organization of Serbia will be promoted again this year during the fair with the aim of communicating with people who want new experiences and memories. The idea of ​​the brand is for tourists to look back on Serbia as a tourist destination that deserves more time and space.

The stand of the Tourist Organization of Serbia will be enriched with a diverse program, and the emphasis is placed on the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB) will present the most important segments of the Serbian capital’s tourist offer at this year’s Tourism Fair, with an emphasis on cultural tourism, which is predominant in European and world “city break” destinations. The focus of the promotion is the upcoming specialized exhibition EXPO 27 to be hosted by Belgrade, but also the offer of Belgrade municipalities, cultural institutions, gastronomy and famous Belgrade festivals.

B2B business program – Connecting and developing tourism on a global scale

The Belgrade Tourism Fair remains a key platform for establishing business contacts between participants, business visitors and guests from the country, region and traditional tourist markets. As the most visited tourism fair in the region, through intensive B2B activities and the presence of numerous professionals from the industry, the fair represents a strategic base for a market that includes tens of millions of potential tourists.

This year as well, all participants, travel agencies from abroad and the country have access to a B2B portal designed for the registration of both exhibitors and business visitors – legal entities.  Registration enables free promotion of companies and contacts with other registered members, as well as scheduling meetings with exhibitors and potentially concluding agreements on future cooperation.

Meetings are held in the special area B2B Meetings” (hall 1, gallery) and can be scheduled easily, automatically by registration itself, using this unique B2B platform specially created for the needs of the event.

20th International Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment HORECA-EQUIPMENT

Under the slogan “Help yourself!”, parallel to the Tourism Fair, the 20th International Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment HORECA-OPREMA will be held in halls 2A and 2C.

This year’s fair focuses on domestic exhibitors, with the presence of relevant foreign representatives from companies in various segments of the hospitality industry that contribute to elevating the tourism offering to a higher level—ranging from the production, distribution, and sale of hotel and restaurant furniture to equipment for kitchens, restaurants, and bars.

In the exhibition area, visitors will have the opportunity to see a wide range of equipment and solutions for the hospitality industry, including kitchen, hotel and restaurant equipment, as well as product ranges of renowned brands in the field of security and booking systems. Special attention will be drawn to innovative IT solutions and applications from leading manufacturers and importers, which improve the quality of services and optimize the operation of catering establishments, following modern trends in the hospitality industry.

The fair includes a confectionery and bakery program, equipment for banquets, food packaging, work clothes and shoes, linens, means for maintaining hygiene in catering establishments, as well as professional literature and publications.

The program will be additionally enriched with current topics intended for restaurateurs, hoteliers and visitors.
